The Role: Exciting new career opportunity for a Parts Advisor! Our client is seeking a Parts Advisor to join their team based at their Portsmouth location and play a crucial role in their dynamic operation. In this role, you will handle over-the-counter customer parts sales both in-person and over the phone, manage orders, support their busy workshop and enhance parts sales and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Parts Advisor:
- Manage sourcing, control, and procurement of parts and consumables.
- Handle stock controls, stock taking, and record and allocate received parts.
- PPE Management.
- Resolve invoice queries, manage returns, and chase credits.
- Control warranty parts retention and processes.
- Oversee waste disposal processes.
- Purchase tools, equipment, and consumables for the workshop.
- Conduct daily and weekly maintenance of the parts department and storage areas.
Full training will be given on systems and processes.
Package:
Basic salary: £33,000 – £36,000 [depending on experience & skillset]
Hours: Monday – Friday [8:00am – 6:00pm] with a 30-minute lunch break. Flexibility within the role is essential to meet the needs of the business! (1-in-3) Saturdays [8:00am – 12:00pm].
