PMO Manager – Training & Corporate Solutions

(Full-time, Remote)

About Us:

The Institute of Project Management has been Ireland’s leading authority in project management education since 1989. We deliver internationally recognised training, corporate solutions, and consulting services to clients across Ireland, the UK, and worldwide.

We are seeking a PMO Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple concurrent training programmes, corporate projects, and strategic initiatives. This role combines operational oversight, commercial engagement, and resource management — ensuring our projects run on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role:

As PMO Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of our corporate training and development portfolio, working closely with leadership to grow our client base, enhance our offerings, and ensure successful delivery through our network of trainers, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Training – Organising, Pitching & Selling

  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of corporate training programmes.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals/pitches to corporate clients and partners.
  • Work with the business development team to secure new contracts and renewals.
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience throughout the engagement lifecycle.

2. Development & Improvement of Courses, Trainings & Certifications

  • Collaborate with faculty, consultants, and subject matter experts to refresh and improve course content.
  • Oversee the development of new training programmes and certifications in response to market demand.
  • Maintain quality and relevance of all offerings in line with industry best practices.

3. Management of People & Contractors to Get Results

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage a network of trainers, consultants, and delivery partners.
  • Set performance expectations and monitor delivery quality.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Optimise resource allocation for maximum efficiency and impact.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 5–7+ years’ experience in project, programme, or PMO management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in training delivery, corporate education, or professional services (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to contribute to business growth.
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage resources effectively.
