About The Role
Offshore Technician
Permanent, Full-time
Oldmeldrum, Aberdeen but can be flexible on location.

Job Purpose:
Multi-Disciplined Service Technician duties to include assembly, test, operate, service and maintain JFO and third-party equipment offshore.
Role And Responsibilities:
- When working on company equipment to report to and take direction from offshore supervisors.
- To actively participate in pre and post job briefings and to ensure that appropriate knowledge transfer takes place.
- To become familiar with JFO and third-party equipment, to follow appropriate procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing and maintenance of this equipment.
- To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with JFO\βs policies and guidelines
- To be responsible for own safety and the safety of others within the workplace by working in a safe, tidy and efficient manner
- To carry out various other general duties as directed and to represent the company in a professional manner
- To always maintain a clean and safe working area
- To ensure compliance with defined HSE policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement
- To ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies
- Other relevant tasks might be included but not mentioned above
Essential:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Time served in a mechanical, hydraulic role.
Preferred:
- Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar
Experience:
Essential:
- Previous experience in an offshore environment.
- Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools and diesel engines.
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems and the control components within these systems.
- Strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Candidates with diesel, hydraulic, UHP or HP water pumping experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuits
- Plant machinery experience
- Good knowledge of subsea services industry equipment.
