EQ8 Recruit is working with a prestigious LNG shipowner to appoint a Marine Superintendent for their London, United Kingdom office. This role is within the Marine Operations team, responsible for ensuring safe navigation, cargo operations, vessel compliance, and ship-shore compatibility. The role includes attending SIRE inspections, assisting with audits and security, and providing expert guidance to shipboard crews.

The Successful Applicant: Qualifications and experience required include:
- Master Mariner (Deck) Certificate of Competency
- At least 1 year of senior management experience on LNG vessels
- Certified Internal Auditor with training in Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation
- Strong understanding of charter party performance warranties, crewing standards, and cargo procedures
- Familiarity with SIGTTO procedures, SIRE inspections, and TMSA audits
- Ability to liaise with shipboard teams and internal stakeholders
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee navigation, mooring, and cargo operations for compliance
- Attend SIRE inspections, TMSA audits, and support internal audits
