Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and finance-savvy Senior Lead Analyst to strengthen the integrity and reliability of financial data across planning, forecasting, and performance reporting systems. This role is critical to ensuring that financial insights used by leadership are underpinned by robust, traceable, and well-governed data flows.
Job Description:
- Assist in mapping financial data flows across systems and dashboards.
- Support the implementation of control checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor exception reports and investigate data anomalies or breaks.
- Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to document data processes and control points.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of data flows and control procedures.
- Participate in testing and validation during system changes or upgrades.
- Assess workflows to identify risk mitigation opportunities and articulate vertical/horizontal adjacencies.
- Rapidly assimilate business context, including understanding products, services, user profiles, and internal transformations impacting finance operations.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree - MBA, CA/ICWA (Inter).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience post-qualification in FP&A, management reporting, decision support, or financial data analysis.
- Certification in Data Science or BI tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, and Excel-based reporting.
- Basic understanding of data governance and internal controls.
- Solid attention to detail and a proactive learning attitude.
Required Skills:
- Handsâon experience with planning/reporting systems â Oracle, SAP Business Objects, Hyperion, or other OLAP tools.
- Experience with ERPs like SAP and Oracle.
- Solid background in data analytics with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work with global stakeholder groups across time zones.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; familiarity with Visual Basic and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong communication skills â both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problemâsolving abilities.
