The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

This is a Permanent Full Time position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Licensing team. We are based in the beautiful Brocks Hill country park in Oadby and this part of Leicestershire is a great place to live, work and visit. Agile working allows employees to work flexibly to balance their home and work needs. We are supportive of flexible working arrangements where possible and encourage you to discuss this with us during the selection process. Employees will need to spend a minimum of 3 days per week in the office or visiting premises within the Borough.

The Licensing team are responsible for administering and enforcing laws that regulate licensed activities in the community including alcohol, taxi, gambling, street trading and late-night refreshment.

The Licensing & Enforcement Officer will carry out inspections and enforcement of licensing laws, ensure compliance and public safety, process applications, prepare legal actions and attend hearings, while working with partners and advising businesses and the public.
