We’re looking for a Senior Shopper Insight Analyst who will play a leading role in IGD’s ShopperVista programme by providing insight and foresight into shopper behaviour.
What you’ll do
- Lead and design shopper research projects using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Deliver best in class shopper insight reports and lead the continual improvement of the research programme.
- Create high-quality, high impact reports, articles, presentations and webinars.
- Maintain high research standards and ensure consistency of tone and brand.
- Review analytics and proactively suggest new ideas aligned to strategy.
- Raise awareness through marketing and communications, including press involvement.
Research:
- Analyse research data and insight, triangulate with other sources of insight and fully interrogate the detail, finding the broader story in the data.
- Demonstrate strong research methodological understanding.
- Lead, design and carry out qualitative and quantitative research recommending the appropriate methodology for each project.
- Keep abreast of new methodologies and approaches which improve efficiency or close the say-do gap, suggest experiments and pilots.
- Influence the data team to innovate in reporting and visualisation.
Customer engagement:
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their challenges and needs.
- Independently deliver high quality presentations across multiple topics to clients and at industry events.
- Lead strategic and tactical client meetings and presentations.
- Organize and conduct client engagement events.
- Establish a strong external network.
What we’re looking for
- Over 5 years’ experience in insights, either agency or client-side, preferably both.
- Solid knowledge of grocery and consumer goods.
- Passion for understanding shopper behaviour.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Advanced research methodology expertise and ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experienced storyteller with robust opinion.
- Excellent written English.
- Advanced Office skills.
- Very strong presenter across all audience levels.
- Strong networker with senior stakeholders.
