We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who will bind the output from our content and channel marketing teams together. You will help us prioritise work, define process, understand, challenge, and manage scope, and work with stakeholders to ensure great delivery, on time in full.

The role will support the Exec and the Brand & Marketing Leadership Team in managing the workflow and requests into the wider team, while collaborating with and supporting the discreet functions in the business. This role helps define and deliver people’s experience of IGD, the intelligence we share and the stories we tell about our impact on the future of the food system. You will define the framework for our marketing plans, how teams connect across insights, impact and consulting and the critical path and plans we need.

What you’ll do

  • Delivering a client focused activity plan for our work
  • Establishing and managing a process for Marketing planning: How we prioritise work, based on our strategy
  • Helping to define and manage the processes, delivering on our plan
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration with teams, supporting their existing processes (e.g., Analytics, Marketing, Content)
  • Responsible for managing and co-ordinating requests: The single point of contact for the business for new Marketing requests/initiatives, ensures all new briefs are completed
  • Supporting and coordinating the work and activity with the Marketing Leadership Team to ensure the smooth delivery of the operational plan
  • Supporting and helping to manage the process of Channel planning / GTM activity
  • Be able to multi-task, plan, and work under your own steam in a varied workflow and juggle priorities
  • A key player in any marketing-related projects in terms of how we project manage them and execution
  • Leading the operational function for marketing: Co-ordinates the Marketing business planning process
  • Project manage delivery of key campaign
  • Sets the framework for, and Chairs the operational weekly meeting to ensure work is scheduled into channel plans
  • Ensures visibility of the total operational plan across Marketing. E.g., this is the focus of the homepage this week, these are our key mailings, this event is live
  • Bring new briefs to MLT for discussion and prioritisation and sizing/scoping
