We are seeking a number of dedicated professionals to join our growing fire safety training team: Fire Safety Trainers and Fire Risk Assessment Trainers. These roles are central to our mission of delivering high-quality fire safety education services across a range of sectors. Fire Safety Trainers

  • Location: home based with UK-wide travel required and overnight stays
  • Contract Type: Full-time

As a Fire Safety Trainer, you will deliver engaging and high-quality fire safety training across the UK. You will support learners through their qualification journey, contribute to course development, and ensure assessments are carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging fire safety training sessions nationwide
  • Support learners with assessments and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Contribute to course design and updates for qualifications and CPD
  • Maintain accurate learner records and uphold quality assurance standards
  • Liaise with clients to tailor training to their needs
  • Stay current with fire safety regulations and best practices
  • Participate in CPD and share knowledge across the team
  • Confident communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences
  • A passion for education and learner development
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respond positively to change
  • Interest in fire safety sector developments and not-for-profit initiatives

Key Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fire safety
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of providing teaching or instruction
  • Experience and knowledge of some or all the current suite of fire safety courses
  • Experienced in presenting information using relevant IT skills – eg: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Holder of, or willingness to work toward: Level 3 or above in Education and Training or experience of relevant CPD/Qualification delivery
  • Qualification or experience of passive fire protections
  • Qualification or experience of fire door inspection
  • Qualification or experience of portable fire extinguisher maintenance

These roles focus on delivering fire risk assessment qualifications and CPD courses. You will ensure training is compliant with current legislation and educational standards, support learners through fair and effective assessment, and uphold internal quality assurance practices. We are looking for fire risk assessors who are practicing at intermediate and advanced levels (aligning with BS8674).

Key Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • Qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent experience
  • Experience in conducting fire risk assessments
  • Working at intermediate or advanced level as defined by current competency standards for fire risk assessors
  • Experienced in presenting information using relevant IT skills – eg: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven experience of carrying out fire risk assessments and report writing for clients
  • Third-party accreditation for fire risk assessment or willingness to work towards
  • Level 3 Assessor qualification or equivalent
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training or experience of relevant CPD/Qualification delivery
