What you'll be doing
- You'll be the vital link between IoD members and our internal teams.
- Working within the Relationship team, you'll support volunteers across Regional and Special Interest Groups while maximising member engagement with our benefits.
- Build strong relationships with members and volunteers through effective communication.
- Support volunteer community leadership teams through recruitment, onboarding and event creation.
- Collaborate with Events, Professional Development, Marketing and other teams on retention activities.
- Maintain detailed records on the IoD CRM system.
- Monitor performance and provide regular reporting on community activities.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
What we're looking for
Essential qualifications:
- Degree qualified, or alternative suitable career experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience of working within a membership management/customer care environment.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of business and membership organisations.
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to provide high-quality member experiences.
- Experience working with CRM systems and databases.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Time management skills with ability to work independently in hybrid environment.
- Awareness and understanding of GDPR rules.
