The Opportunity

ICMP isseekingan experienced and passionate educator to join the School of Audio & Music Production as a full-time Senior Lecturer based at our London campus.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio while contributing to the continuing development of one of the UK's leading providers of contemporary music education.

The successful candidate will combine subjectexpertise, teaching excellence and academic leadership to support student success, enhance programmedeliveryand contribute to the strategic development of the School.

As part of a growing academic team, you will work closely with Programme Leaders and professional services colleagues, helping to ensure an outstanding student experience across all areas of provision.

The Role

  • Teaching
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Teach across a range of Audio & Music Production modules aligned to your area of expertise.
  • Create inclusive and industry-informed learning experiences.
  • Support student achievement through innovative and effective teaching practice.
  • Deliver approximately 450 teaching hours per academic year.
  • Module Leadership and Curriculum Development
  • Lead designated modules and coordinate teaching teams whererequired.
  • Develop learning resources, assessmentmaterialsand teaching content.
  • Contribute to programme enhancements and periodic curriculum review.
  • Support the continued development of industry-relevant learning experiences.
  • Assessment and Quality Assurance
  • Design, deliverand review assessment activities.
  • Mark and moderate student workin accordance withinstitutional policies.
  • Providetimely, constructiveand developmental feedback.
  • Contribute to assessment boards and quality assurance processes
  • Student Support
  • Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to students.
  • Support student engagement, progressionand achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with Student Services, Programme Leaders and academic colleagues.
  • Act as a positive role model within the student community.
  • Academic and Operational Leadership
  • Support Programme Leaders in the effective delivery of programmes.
  • Contribute to recruitment activities including Open Days, Applicant Daysand auditions.
  • Act as a key liaison between academic teams and facilities staff.
  • Support the management and coordination of specialist learning facilities, including studio booking systems.
  • Contribute to wider School, Facultyand institutional initiatives.
  • Participate actively in programme meetings, enhancementactivitiesand cross-campus projects.
