Established in 1976, SAE spans the globe with over 50 campuses in 23 countries and delivers world-class education to over 12,000 students in state-of-the-art creative facilities. Our ultimate goal is to prepare the students for a realistic work environment making the course, facilities, lecturers as well as the atmosphere as close to the industry working environment as possible.

SAE UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Leader to lead our Games portfolio across our five UK campuses. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of creative education by overseeing a diverse programme that includes Games Art and Animation, Games Design, Games Programming, Game and Integrative Audio and Web Development.

As Programme Leader, you will provide strategic and academic leadership, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, and student experience. You will work closely with academic teams to drive innovation and excellence across curriculum development, programme delivery, and student engagement.

About You

  • You are a passionate and proven academic leader with a strong background in Games, or a related discipline.
  • You bring substantial experience in undergraduate teaching and academic leadership.
  • A track record of leading teams, enhancing the student experience, and managing academic programmes.
  • A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with awareness of inclusive pedagogies and current debates such as decolonising the curriculum.
  • The ability to motivate and support staff, foster collaboration, and align academic vision with strategic objectives.
  • Experience and expertise in Creative Computing.
  • Ideally, an active research profile or industry practice that enriches your academic work and connects to the evolving landscape of Games.
