Marketing and Content Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Newsletter Preparation: Create, edit, and distribute newsletters that align with marketing strategies and audience engagement goals.
- Content Creation: Assist with developing video content, social media posts, and written copy for the website. Regularly update and maintain the ICA’s online presence.
- Website Updates: Keep the ICA website up to date with accurate event information, news, and program details. Ensure consistency in copy and visual elements.
- Social Media Management: Assist with managing social media channels, planning and scheduling posts, and tracking engagement metrics. Respond to user comments and inquiries as necessary.
- Audience Data Management: Use platforms including Spektrix, Illuminate, and Culture Counts to track audience engagement and log data. Ensure all audience data is collected, stored, and reported accurately.
- Press Support: Respond to press emails by distributing official assets such as press releases, images, and videos. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Cross-departmental Coordination: Work closely with the Curatorial and Programme teams to ensure marketing efforts align with the artistic vision and calendar of events.
- Marketing Asset Management: Oversee the storage and distribution of marketing assets, including images, videos, and printed materials.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including creating promotional materials, managing timelines, and collaborating with external partners.
- Data Reporting: Collect and present audience data and campaign performance metrics for internal review and external reporting to stakeholders such as Arts Council England.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in content creation and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms, content management systems (CMS), and social media scheduling tools.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating simple digital assets.
- Familiarity with audience data platforms like Spektrix, Illuminate, and Culture Counts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
