We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager – International Operations to take ownership of a broad and evolving portfolio that blends hands‑on operational finance with strong control, compliance, contract and stakeholder management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, improving how things run day‑to‑day, and partnering with teams across multiple countries to deliver robust, consistent outcomes.
What you will be doing:
- Lead operational finance delivery for international entities, ensuring a strong month‑end rhythm, accurate reporting and well‑controlled processes.
- Own supplier/third‑party bookkeeping relationship management, including service reviews, query management, root‑cause analysis and issue escalation.
- Drive standardisation and continuous improvement across O2C, P2P, R2R and reporting processes, including automation opportunities.
- Oversee balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring aged items are understood, challenged and resolved.
- Support audit delivery and ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Lead and develop a small team, creating clarity, pace and a "right first time" culture.
What you will need:
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent relevant qualification) with strong financial reporting and control experience.
- Proven experience working across international operations (multiple countries/currencies) and influencing stakeholders in different time zones and cultures.
- Strong operational mindset-confident handling volume, prioritising, and keeping delivery on track to tight deadlines.
- Shared services experience is highly advantageous, bringing a service‑led approach, strong query management and escalation discipline, and comfort working with standardised processes/SLAs.
- Track record of improving processes and using technology/automation to make finance delivery more efficient and robust.
