WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Undertaking acoustic surveys, environmental monitoring, assessments, and technical report writing across a range of projects
- Carrying out sound insulation testing and supporting building acoustics projects
- Supporting planning applications through environmental noise assessments
- Liaising with clients, architects, planners, and contractors
- Managing your own workload with support from senior team members
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the consultancy
This role offers a varied workload with an approximate 50/50 split between site‑based and home/office‑based work, providing a good balance between technical reporting and practical site experience.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Approximately 2–3 years’ experience within an acoustic consultancy role
- Experience in environmental monitoring, building acoustics, and sound insulation testing
- A good understanding of UK acoustic standards, guidance, and legislation
- Strong technical report‑writing and communication skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands when required
- Associate Membership of the IOA (AMIOA), with ambitions to work towards full MIOA status
