WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Undertaking acoustic surveys, environmental monitoring, assessments, and technical report writing across a range of projects
  • Carrying out sound insulation testing and supporting building acoustics projects
  • Supporting planning applications through environmental noise assessments
  • Liaising with clients, architects, planners, and contractors
  • Managing your own workload with support from senior team members
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the consultancy

This role offers a varied workload with an approximate 50/50 split between site‑based and home/office‑based work, providing a good balance between technical reporting and practical site experience.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Approximately 2–3 years’ experience within an acoustic consultancy role
  • Experience in environmental monitoring, building acoustics, and sound insulation testing
  • A good understanding of UK acoustic standards, guidance, and legislation
  • Strong technical report‑writing and communication skills
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands when required
  • Associate Membership of the IOA (AMIOA), with ambitions to work towards full MIOA status
