KP Acoustics Group are global experts in acoustics, providing independent noise and vibration consultancy across a wide range of sectors. We operate across four core areas: Consultancy, Monitoring, Research and Training, and we also develop innovative acoustic monitoring technology, including our eNViewTM platform. Our consultancy team works on projects ranging from small, technically challenging planning assessments through to large, complex developments across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and infrastructure sectors. We are known for delivering clear, robust advice that is practical and trusted by clients, design teams and Local Authorities.
We are looking to add to our London-based and Surrey-based teams with consultants who are ready to take the next step in their career.
Required Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for Assistant Acoustic Consultant and Acoustic Consultant candidates with a solid consultancy background, who are comfortable working independently and managing projects from the initial enquiry to the final report, including liaison with clients and design teams. You will ideally have:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, and/or the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
- Around 3 - 5 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy, with technical background in both building and environmental acoustics.
- A working knowledge of relevant legislation, British Standards and guidance applicable to planning and design-led acoustics.
- Confidence communicating professionally with clients, design teams and stakeholders.
- The ability to manage projects from start to finish and to manage your own workload, priorities and deadlines.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
