We are looking for an Acoustic Consultant / Senior Consultant to complement our friendly, flexible and growing team. We are an independent consultancy based in Bolton. Our team works predominantly across the northwest of England but covers the whole of the UK, carrying out environmental noise assessments, architectural acoustic design and sound insulation testing. We have a wide variety of projects across many different sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in environmental noise assessments for a wide range of projects, including completion of noise & vibration surveys, data processing, 3D noise modelling using CadnaA, carrying out assessments, and preparing technical reports to a high standard.
- Conducting sound insulation testing.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in acoustics, sound engineering or physics.
- Technician membership or AMIOA.
- Membership of the Institute of Acoustics would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Valid UK driving licence (this is essential).
