Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (travel to the other centre twice a week, paid by VS).

Salary: £38,374 – £42,326.

Working hours: 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage outdoor-based programmes, including group and 1‑2‑1 sessions, and residentials up to 4 nights.
  • Lead and support the Edinburgh and Glasgow programme delivery teams and volunteer staff.
  • Provide high‑quality social and emotional learning opportunities.
  • Oversee programme logistics, safety standards and resource management.
  • Evaluate and report on programme outcomes and staff performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Finance & Administration Manager and Fundraising Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications: Summer Mountain Leader (Assessed), Rock Climbing Instructor (Assessed), Paddlesport Leader, 16‑hour first aid, full valid Category B licence held for at least two years.
  • Regulated work: role involves activities with children and protected adults; a Police Vetting Check (PVG) is required.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
