Location: Sayers Croft Field Centre, Cranleigh Road, Ewhurst, Cranleigh, GU6 7SS

Hours per week: 36

Salary: £14,172.48 per annum for the first 12 months, increasing to the national minimum wage (depending on age bracket) including London weighting.

Vetting requirement: Enhanced DBS Check

Accommodation: Free accommodation in a shared flat with a private room, no bills, and the vast majority of food supplied.

The Role

Assistant (Apprentice) Outdoor Instructor – run outdoor activity sessions for groups visiting the centre and work towards an Outdoor Activity Instructor level 3 apprenticeship. Assist the grounds person with conservation and grounds management tasks, undertake risk assessments to ensure the safety and security of people on-site, and attend training events, workshops and tutorials. The role is live‑in with an evening working rota and requires comfort working in all weather conditions. You should be comfortable working with heights and in confined spaces, be a confident swimmer, and be able to deliver STA pool responder training. We value a genuine passion for education and the great outdoors, a strong team player, and a motivating, enthusiastic approach to all tasks.
