Grade 8: £45,025 - £48,820, full-time, fixed-term (4 years). Kingston University London is a national leader in Future Skills education, embedding skills such as problem-solving, digital competency and collaboration across every undergraduate degree. Supported by funding from The Mohn Westlake Foundation, we are seeking a talented Research Fellow with strong quantitative and psychometric expertise to join our Future Skills Research programme.

Working within Kingston University's Behaviour, Business and Policy Knowledge Exchange and Research Institute (KERI), you will play a key role in delivering a major multi-year research programme evaluating the impact of Future Skills on student success, graduate outcomes and employability. You will design and deliver quantitative and psychometric research, analyse complex datasets, and apply advanced statistical methods to evaluate educational interventions and graduate outcomes. The role includes longitudinal research, analysis of student and alumni data, contribution to mixed-methods evaluation, dissemination of findings through publications and conferences, and support for external funding applications.

You will hold a PhD (or equivalent research experience) in psychology, social sciences, statistics or a related discipline, with substantial expertise in quantitative research methods. You will have experience managing and analysing complex datasets using statistical software such as R or SPSS, and a track record of disseminating research findings through publications and presentations. You will be an excellent communicator, capable of providing methodological guidance to colleagues and working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Experience in psychometric scale development, higher education research, graduate employability, or educational evaluation would be advantageous.

This role sits within the Behaviour, Business and Policy KERI, one of Kingston University's four Knowledge Exchange and Research Institutes. The Institute brings together researchers, industry and policymakers to address major societal challenges through evidence-based research.
