The Faculty of English wishes to appoint a temporary Teaching Associate in Renaissance literature for a fixed term from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. Responsibilities include teaching, examining, and supervising dissertations on topics related to Renaissance literature at undergraduate and Masters (MPhil) level.

Applicants should hold a good first degree and a doctorate awarded before 1 October 2026 in a relevant subject area. Candidates are expected to have experience successfully delivering and developing university-level teaching, including lectures, seminars, and small-group sessions, and to be able to work effectively as part of a team.

The post is temporary and fixed-term until 30 September 2027, or the return of the post holder, whichever comes first. Salary range: £47,389 to £59,966 per annum.
