Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strong technology background and experience within the financial services industry. This role will support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-driven implementation projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation through implementation and post-launch.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and documentation.
  • Coordinate activities across business, technology, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalating concerns to senior project managers and leadership as needed.
  • Support requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution validation activities.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to understand system architecture, integrations, testing, and deployment schedules.
  • Ensure projects adhere to organizational governance standards, security requirements, and financial services regulations.
  • Prepare project status updates and presentations for stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Execute on requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, training, and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of project coordination, project management, business analysis, or related experience.
  • Experience working in financial services, banking, wealth management, insurance, fintech, or capital markets environments.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of technology concepts, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and systems implementation projects.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting digital transformation, application development, data, client communications, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exposure to business process improvement and client facing technology implementations.
  • CAPM, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other project management certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with vendors, third-party technology providers, or consulting partners.
