We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the aviation sector, supporting the development of high-quality, technical training programmes used across critical operations.
The Role
This is a hands-on Training Designer role focused on transforming complex, technical subject matter into clear, structured, and engaging face-to-face training materials. You’ll be working with existing content developed by subject matter experts, refining and enhancing it to ensure it is accessible, visually effective, and aligned with strong instructional design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Design & Development
- Redesign technical training content into high-quality PowerPoint presentations
- Ensure slides are visually engaging, well-structured, and not overcrowded (aligned to templates)
- Translate complex information into clear, learner-friendly content
- Instructional Design
- Review and refine lesson plans to ensure logical flow and effective learning journeys
- Apply best practice instructional design for face-to-face delivery
- Add trainer notes and guidance to support delivery
- Programme Review
- Assess a portfolio of training modules and provide insight on timelines for full redesign
- Support initial scoping of content (approx. 20 days) with potential for further work
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Training Designer or Instructional Designer
- Strong background in face-to-face (classroom) learning design
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for clarity and layout
- Comfortable working with highly technical content
- Experience within aviation or similarly regulated industries is a plus
