We are working with an established higher education institution based in London, who are looking to appoint a Learning Project Manager. This role is focused on managing production of learning experiences, through design to delivery, and managing day to day production operations of the development process. The successful candidate will be highly organised, with relevant experience in higher education to manage the production processes related to design, development and delivery of learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing production of learning experiences, through design to delivery, and managing day to day production operations of the development process, including resourcing considerations as part of the pipeline.
  • Provide expert guidance, consultancy and advice to a team of creative digital learning professionals, as well as academics and educators across various departments to ensure the design, development, and delivery of learning experiences meet timescales and are in line with scope and quality standards.
  • Contribute to ensuring highly engaging, consistent learner experience by liaising with relevant portfolio teams and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for assessing, monitoring and managing risks and opportunities of production related operations and contributing to the innovation, quality and scalability of all outputs.
  • Support the Head of Learning Delivery and Innovation in reviewing existing processes and enhancing practices through key lessons learned activities and continual reflection points.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a project manager or similar role, preferably in higher education.
  • Experience working effectively in a team.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Evidence of prior experience in digital learning project or production management.
  • Knowledge of current trends and practices in technology-enhanced learning.
  • Knowledge or understanding of pedagogical concepts and lesson/curriculum planning.
  • The ability to work successfully on multiple projects simultaneously and drive these through to completion, including requirements gathering and task management.
