We are working with a rapidly growing Automotive client, with a strong focus on establishing its dealer network and technical capability in the UK. Their vehicles are positioned competitively and come with a very strong warranty proposition, making this an attractive brand for candidates who want to work with a growing original equipment manufacturer.
Role
The successful contractors will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical, and technically accurate training to automotive personnel, supporting the development of technical knowledge, product understanding and diagnostic capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training to automotive technicians and relevant personnel.
- Provide practical and classroom-based technical instruction.
- Support learners in developing their understanding of vehicle systems, technology and diagnostic processes.
- Deliver training in line with technical standards and requirements.
- Adapt training delivery to accommodate different levels of technical knowledge and experience.
- Provide clear explanations of complex technical information in an accessible way.
- Support practical demonstrations, assessments and hands-on learning activities.
- Maintain a high standard of technical accuracy and learner engagement.
- Provide feedback on learner performance and identify areas requiring further development.
- Work collaboratively with the wider technical training team
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within an automotive technical training environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies.
- Experience delivering technical training to automotive technicians or similar technical audiences.
- Strong practical automotive/vehicle technical background.
- Confident delivering both classroom and practical training.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Professional, engaging and confident training style.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with OEM/dealer networks.
- Previous manufacturer technical training experience.
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
- Experience delivering training on new vehicle technologies.
- Relevant automotive technical qualifications or manufacturer accreditations.
