Instinct is working with a leading global professional education organisation on the development of a new suite of employability-focused learning programmes. We are seeking an experienced Learning Designer to support the creation of digital learning content for an innovative Digital Technology & Innovation module within a wider professional learning pathway. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme focused on developing future-ready skills for professionals operating in an increasingly digital world.

The successful contractor will work closely with subject matter experts to transform technical content into engaging, interactive digital learning experiences using Articulate Storyline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences from SME-authored content.
  • Create detailed storyboards and learning designs aligned to programme outcomes.
  • Build high-quality eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline.
  • Work within established templates, standards and development frameworks.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to shape and refine content.
  • Translate complex technical subject matter into clear, learner-centred experiences.
Essential Experience
  • Learning Design: Proven experience as a Learning Designer or Instructional Designer. Experience developing large-scale digital learning programmes. Strong storyboard development and instructional design skills. Experience transforming SME-authored content into engaging learner experiences.
  • Articulate Storyline: Strong hands-on Articulate Storyline development experience. Ability to build interactive learning content efficiently and to a high standard. Experience working within established templates and development frameworks.
  • Technical Subject Matter: Experience designing learning around complex, specialist or technical subject matter. Ability to understand and communicate analytical concepts effectively. Comfortable working with content containing formulas, technical processes, specialist terminology and conceptual frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs and content authors. Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience designing learning relating to Technology, Digital Transformation, Innovation, Data, Analytics or STEM-related subjects.
  • Experience developing Master's-level, higher education or professional qualification learning content.
  • Experience working with assessment-led learning programmes.

Contract Details: Remote working. Expected to be a full-time engagement, with some flexibility depending on project requirements. 1 stage Teams interview - w/c 15th June.
