Role
The Learning Content Specialist will be responsible for managing the organisation’s learning content catalogue, ensuring all compliance and development content is accurately mapped to job roles and learning pathways within the Learning Management System (LMS). This role sits at the intersection of L&D, systems, and procurement, combining content lifecycle management with LMS administration and training provider governance.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of learning content across the organisation.
- Mapping learning content to job roles, learning profiles, and development pathways.
- Maintaining governance of compliance training, including review cycles and audit readiness.
- Ensuring learning assignments remain accurate as roles, regulations, and structures change.
- Administering learning content within the LMS (uploading, tagging, configuration, archiving).
- Maintaining a clean and intuitive learner experience across compliance and development content.
- Managing the training provider Preferred Supplier List (PSL).
- Supporting provider onboarding, reviews, renewals, and offboarding.
- Partnering with Procurement on supplier selection, RFPs, RFQs, and evaluation processes.
- Acting as a central point of contact between L&D, operational teams, SMEs, and external providers.
- Providing reporting, insights, and recommendations on learning usage, coverage, and spend.

Qualifications
- Experience managing learning content within an LMS.
- Strong understanding of role-based learning, pathways, and learning architecture.
- Experience supporting compliance training in regulated environments.
- Exposure to managing external training providers or supplier lists.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
