Instinct is proud to be working with a global education and accreditation body responsible for promoting best practice and providing oversight across an international membership community. They support organisations around the world through training, audits, governance frameworks, and shared expertise. Their work ensures high-quality, ethical, and consistent services for the people and communities their members support. The team is small, collaborative, and deeply mission-driven.

They are seeking an experienced LMS Consultant (Moodle) to lead a full refresh of their existing learning platform. This 12-month assignment will focus on modernising, restructuring, and elevating their Moodle environment into a cohesive, intuitive, and professional global learning experience. You will take ownership of reviewing the current setup - its architecture, workflows, plugins, multilingual capabilities, and overall user experience - and provide clear recommendations for improvement. Working closely with subject matter experts, you’ll reorganise and curate legacy learning materials into structured, branded pathways, establish consistent navigation, and ensure the platform is fit for assessment, certification, and tracking at an international scale. This role is ideal for someone who blends strategic vision with hands-on technical capability, and who enjoys transforming dated systems into polished, modern digital learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the current Moodle platform structure, configuration, workflows, and UX.
  • Recommend and implement improvements based on best practice and global learning standards.
  • Review and optimise plugins, integrations, hosting, and multilingual functionality.
  • Organise, rationalise, and restructure existing learning materials into coherent learning journeys.
  • Ensure consistent branding, navigation, and learner experience across all content.
  • Design or advise on assessment, testing, certification, and evidence-of-completion mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to validate content and align learning pathways to organisational goals.
  • Contribute to a wider digital learning transformation project focused on quality, consistency, and usability.
