Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Learning Designer to develop engaging and impactful course materials, specifically for new apprenticeship programs launching in Spring/Summer. This role requires a candidate with an understanding of school environments, classroom needs, and the professional development requirements of teachers and teaching assistants. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop activities for apprenticeship courses in areas such as SEND, leadership, and safeguarding. Collaborate with the curriculum team and existing freelancers to create high-quality learning content. Ensure activities are tailored to classroom environments and aligned with the needs of teachers and teaching assistants. Requirements: Background in teaching or experience in education-focused teacher training providers. Strong understanding of classroom environments and professional development needs in schools. Proficiency in designing learning activities, with experience using tools like Articulate Storyline being a plus. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience designing education classroom-based SEND content. Contract Details: Duration: Mid-January to Mid-May (5 months). Location: Hybrid role with monthly expensed meetings in the South East. Rate: Up to £275/day, outside IR35. Interviews: Week commencing December 16th. Start Date: Mid-January 2024.
