Our client is a global education provider currently undertaking a major learning platform transition. As part of this project, they are migrating learning content from their existing VLE, Insendi, onto Moodle before Insendi is decommissioned.
To support this migration, they are looking for an experienced Moodle professional to help move and recreate course content within a tight project deadline.
Working as part of the project team, you'll be responsible for migrating learning content from Insendi into Moodle, ensuring courses, activities, quizzes and resources are accurately recreated and ready for learners. This is primarily a lift-and-shift content migration project. While much of the work involves replicating existing content, there will be occasions where an exact like-for-like migration isn't possible. In these instances, you'll use your judgement to identify the best Moodle equivalent while maintaining the learner experience and integrity of the original course. The project has a fixed deadline due to the planned shutdown of Insendi, so the focus is on delivering high-quality work efficiently.
Essential Experience
- Hands-on experience using Moodle (essential)
- Previous experience migrating content between VLE/LMS platforms
- Experience building and managing Moodle courses
- Experience creating or maintaining digital learning content
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working towards fixed project deadlines
- Able to balance quality with pace in a delivery-focused environment
This opportunity would suit someone with strong Moodle experience who enjoys hands-on content migration work and can quickly deliver high-quality courses within a fast-paced project.
