A 6-month day-rate contract hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the office on the South Coast. The day rate is circa £350, with an ASAP start date. This position is inside IR35 and must go via an umbrella.
About the opportunity:
We are working with a leading organisation currently undergoing a transformation project. We are looking for an experienced End-to-End Learning Designer to support the design and development of high-quality digital and blended learning solutions that improve and accelerate on-the-job training.
You will work closely with technical Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate specialist knowledge into engaging, accessible, and effective learning experiences.
The role involves:
- Taking ownership of learning solutions from initial concept and learning needs analysis through design, development, testing, quality assurance, release, and ongoing maintenance.
- Developing a varied range of learning solutions, such as:
- Digital learning and e-learning modules
- Interactive and multimedia learning
- Simulation-based learning tools
- Short instructional and explainer videos
- Workbooks and practical learning resources
- Assessment materials, knowledge checks, and question banks
- On-the-job training resources
- Analysing learning requirements and recommending appropriate learning approaches.
- Working collaboratively with SMEs to translate complex technical information into clear and engaging learning.
- Ensuring learning products meet agreed quality, accessibility, and design standards.
- Managing multiple learning developments and updates, balancing priorities and deadlines.
- Supporting the release, version control, maintenance, and continuous improvement of learning products.
- Developing guidance and resources to support trainers in using learning solutions effectively.
- Using feedback, evaluation, and performance data to improve learning outcomes.
About you:
You will have proven experience in a Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, Digital Learning Developer, or similar role, with strong end-to-end learning development capability. We are looking for:
- Experience designing and developing learning solutions within a technical or L&D/training environment.
- Strong digital learning experience across e-learning, video, and multimedia content.
- Experience using rapid authoring and digital creation tools, ideally Articulate Storyline, Evolve, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
