The key requirements for this role are to:

  • Lead the scoping, design, and development of creative and engaging online courses that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Facilitate collaborative design workshops with subject matter experts, providing guidance on learning design principles and recommending content formats suited to busy online audiences
  • Produce detailed learning design plans, storyboards, and scripts that align with pedagogical best practice and organisational quality and budget frameworks
  • Design and build interactive, high-quality digital learning materials using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Synthesia, and Canva
  • Develop visually engaging and interactive content — including exercises, graphics, animations, videos, and branded templates — to enhance learner engagement
  • Stay informed on emerging design and technology trends, bringing innovative ideas to continuously improve the digital learning offer
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to highlight key features, benefits, and user engagement insights for promoting digital learning products
  • Support the management and optimisation of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all content remains current, accessible, and user-friendly

The required skills and experience for this role are:

  • Strong eLearning development experience (Articulate Rise essential)
  • Solid learning design capability (ability to storyboard, script, and structure learning)
  • Skilled in converting SME content into digital learning
  • Able to work efficiently on varied course types (from quick learning objects to more substantial flagship content)
  • Strong visual design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A creative eye for visual storytelling and accessibility
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
