Our client is a specialist learning and capability organisation focused on designing and delivering high-impact digital learning programmes across enterprise and early talent.

The Role

This is a senior Learning Design & Programme Management role responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of a new Early Talent Data & AI curriculum. The role sits across curriculum strategy, instructional design leadership, content development oversight, and programme delivery management. You will be responsible for shaping the high-level learning architecture, managing instructional designers and SMEs, and ensuring all content is designed, developed, and quality assured to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum & Programme Design
    • Design a high-level Early Talent curriculum for Data & AI
    • Define learning outcomes using structured, backward design principles
    • Translate complex technical subject matter into structured learning pathways
  • Instructional Design Leadership
    • Oversee instructional designers and SMEs across content development
    • Manage the full learning design lifecycle from scoping through to launch
    • Ensure all learning assets meet instructional and technical quality standards
  • AI & Content Innovation
    • Apply AI tools and prompt engineering principles to support learning design
    • Translate pedagogical requirements into AI-executable content rules and workflows
    • Leverage generative AI to support content development and optimisation
  • Programme Delivery & Management
    • Manage timelines, risks, and delivery plans across multiple workstreams
    • Oversee QA, review cycles, and stakeholder sign-off processes
    • Produce launch materials, onboarding documentation, and delivery handover packs
  • Programme Adaptation
    • Adapt two existing programmes into an Early Talent format
    • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all learning materials

Essential Experience

  • Strong background in instructional design and curriculum development
  • Experience applying backward design and measurable learning frameworks
  • Experience managing SMEs and instructional design teams
  • Strong understanding of generative AI, prompt engineering, and workflow automation tools
