The Client
The client is a global engineering and manufacturing organisation operating within the semiconductor and advanced technology space. Part of a wider international group, they support a large global network of Field Service Engineers across EMEA, APAC, and the US. This role sits within their largest division, supporting a decentralised global technical training function responsible for maintaining high standards of engineering capability, compliance, and operational excellence across regions.
As the organisation continues to evolve its global certification and technical training frameworks, they are now looking to bring in a Training Operations Specialist to support governance, coordination, compliance, and operational consistency across the global training landscape.
The Role
This is a collaborative and operationally focused Training Operations role sitting at the centre of a global technical training function. Acting as the operational backbone of the team, you will support the management and coordination of global training processes, regional communication, compliance tracking, and documentation governance across multiple international regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Operations & Governance
- Support the day-to-day operational running of global technical training processes
- Monitor regional compliance with training standards and governance frameworks
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, evidence packs, and operational records
- Ensure version control, naming conventions, and documentation standards are followed globally
- Support updates and improvements to training operational processes and tools
- Global Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key link between central leadership and regional training teams across EMEA, APAC, and the US
- Coordinate communication, updates, feedback, and operational actions across regions
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with international stakeholders and training teams
- Support alignment and sharing of best practices across global regions
- Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse training data, regional feedback, skills records, and compliance information
- Identify trends, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support reporting and visibility into training compliance and operational performance
- Maintain and organise structured data across training and certification systems
Essential Experience
- Experience within Training Operations, L&D Operations, Training Coordination, or Learning Governance roles
- Experience working within global or multi-region organisations
- Strong operational, organisational, and documentation management skills
- Experience supporting governance, compliance, or process standardisation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured, process-driven work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms
Desirable Experience
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, technical training, or industrial environments.
