This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK branch of a global materials service conglomerate as a Learning & Development Business Partner, on a 12-month FTC. They are looking for someone who can provide an innovative and forward-thinking approach to their L&D offering, to build capability, strengthen culture, and support organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- This is a strategic and operational L&D Business Partner role, where you will deliver digital learning, partner with stakeholders, lead leadership development, and manage apprenticeships, all with the focus on building organisational capability and performance.
- Experience working in a small or lean L&D function with responsibility for both strategy and hands-on delivery.
- Experience building skills matrix, competency frameworks, and capability models.
- Background in commercial/operational environments (ideally manufacturing or engineering).
- Experience designing and supporting commercial development programmes.
- Strong leadership development experience (SLT, managers, emerging leaders).
- Confident facilitator across varied audiences.
- Experience developing career pathways and progression frameworks.
- Data-driven approach to L&D.
- Experience managing apprenticeship programmes.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
