Remote 6 month FTC (likely to go permanent) £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (pro rata to 6 months). We're delighted to be partnering with a leading provider of higher education to recruit a Digital Learning Assistant. As a Digital Learning Assistant, you'll become an integral part of the Digital Learning team, providing both administrative and digital support to ensure the smooth delivery of online and blended learning. You'll work closely with academic colleagues and internal stakeholders to maintain virtual learning environments, coordinate digital learning resources, and help deliver an engaging, accessible, and high-quality learning experience for students. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative team while supporting innovative approaches to digital education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the organisation's virtual learning environment (Moodle), ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and well organised.
  • Support the administration and delivery of online and blended learning programmes.
  • Upload, manage, and maintain digital learning resources across multiple modules.
  • Provide administrative support to the Digital Learning team and academic staff.
  • Assist with quality assurance processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy across learning materials.
  • Support learners and colleagues with queries relating to digital learning platforms.
  • Coordinate digital content and contribute to the continuous improvement of online learning resources.
  • Ensure learning materials meet accessibility standards and best practice guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to support an excellent student experience.
Required Experience:
  • Experience using virtual learning environments, ideally Moodle.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting online or blended learning environments.
  • An understanding of accessibility requirements for digital learning materials.
  • Previous experience within higher education, further education, training, or a similar learning environment.
  • Knowledge of learning technologies and digital content management.
