About the role We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team focused on developing and expanding a modern, enterprise-level GenAI platform. This position involves creating and managing cloud-native solutions on AWS while collaborating with both frontend and backend application layers. You will work alongside software engineers to ensure that applications developed using React, TypeScript, and Python are secure, scalable, and ready for production.
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland Engagement: Full-time Compensation: $78,603
What you'll do
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance application security and scalability.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of applications built with React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Ensure that all solutions are production-ready and meet industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS.
- Proficient in AWS services and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of application development using React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
