Why are we hiring for a Technology Integration PM?
The Technology Integration Project Manager leads the seamless technology integration of business growth within our fast-growing life sciences software business.
This role will orchestrate complex, cross-functional projects covering both corporate IT and product technology, ensuring smooth onboarding of systems, people, and assets into our organisation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing multiple acquisitions or complex integration programmes, with a deep understanding of IT operations, software product infrastructure, and M&A integration practices in regulated and data-sensitive environments.

What are you responsible for?
Acquisition Integration Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive integration plans for each acquisition, including timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and milestones.
- Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent integrations, each involving distinct workstreams (e.g., IT onboarding, product technology transfer, security).
- Serve as the central point of contact for technology integration across internal and acquired teams.
Corporate IT Onboarding
- Plan and execute the migration of users to corporate systems (e.g., identity management, collaboration tools, endpoint management).
- Oversee provisioning and deployment of end-user devices, applying corporate standards and security baselines.
- Manage the migration and consolidation of corporate data (e.g., email, file storage, intranet content, knowledge bases).
- Ensure effective user training, change management and communication to acquired staff.
Product & IP Asset Integration
- Identify and manage the migration of software source code, pipelines, documentation, and technical IP into the acquirer’s repositories and development toolchains
- Ensure IP inventories are complete and that appropriate licensing and ownership transfers are achieved.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering, Platform Engineering and Legal/GRC to ensure compliance and readiness for future development and support.
SaaS and Infrastructure Takeover
- Lead the secure transition of SaaS environments, hosted infrastructure and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines into the acquirer’s control.
- Perform due diligence and implement remediation where security, cost, or operational maturity fall below corporate standards.
- Plan and manage the deployment of standard operating models (e.g., IAM, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management) to acquired environments.
- Rationalisation and Optimisation
- Identify opportunities to reduce duplication across acquired and existing technology stacks, including software, infrastructure, vendors, and contracts.
- Coordinate the decommissioning or consolidation of redundant systems and services post-integration.
Governance & Risk Management
- Maintain integration risk registers, escalate blockers and critical risks, and track mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with sector-specific regulatory and quality standards (e.g., GxP, ISO 27001, HIPAA where applicable).
- Support audit-readiness and information governance activities related to the acquisition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues in Legal, HR, Product, Finance, and wider Technology & Security to ensure end-to-end integration success.
- Provide regular updates to executive stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Support post-integration reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
Essential
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing technology integration projects for corporate acquisitions, ideally with experience in software business acquisitions.
- Solid understanding of corporate IT systems (e.g., M365, endpoint management, identity, collaboration) and what migration of these systems involves.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native product architectures (e.g., SaaS, microservices, CI/CD).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels, including executives and technical teams.
- Understanding of information security, regulatory compliance, and data protection requirements in a healthcare or life sciences context.
Desirable
- Experience with integrating businesses operating under regulated software development (e.g., GxP, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimisation, SaaS vendor evaluation, or technical due diligence.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
- Technical background in software engineering, systems administration, or enterprise IT .
