As a Revenue Management Accountant you’ll be part of that mission, using your skills to support innovation across the global life sciences industry. Reporting to the VP of FP&A and working closely with the Commercial team, this is a pivotal role within Group Finance. A key focus of this role will be to produce a revenue forecast, Revenue and KPI reporting and to build a good working relationship between Finance and both Commercial and Revenue Operations.

This role will suit an individual who is commercially minded and inquisitive in the work they do while working to meet key deadlines and reporting milestones.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for the consolidation of the recurring revenue
  • Update files with latest sales orders and monthly revenue by customer
  • Work with other departments to resolve issues found with renewals
  • Chair monthly meetings to gather information
  • Work with management accountants to correct any system errors found
  • Extrapolate the recurring revenue files to provide the full year view
  • Work with other departments to understand the future state of upcoming renewals
  • Provide manager and CFO reports on the forecast with commentary
  • Revenue accruals production: produce a list of outstanding renewals each month
  • Chair meetings to understand the likelihood of renewal and reasons behind delays
  • Produce a journal and report on the outstanding items
  • Business Partner: work alongside and host meetings with other departments, helping Finance understand upcoming projects in the business
  • Assist other departments on issues on Sales Orders and invoicing
  • Work with senior leaders to improve current processes
  • Responsible for analysis of actuals vs Plan/forecast: provide accurate and detailed analysis of the variances within the revenue
  • Create reports to help build and explain the analysis
  • Present the findings to the CFO and Product teams
  • Ad hoc analysis as required
  • Produce KPIs with analysis: Using the recurring revenue files produce ARR/CARR KPIs
  • Meet with senior management to walk through findings
  • Build and maintain models that are used in board reports
  • Provide detailed commentary on all movements
  • Apply process improvements to tasks; apply AI tools to speed up manual process allowing to add value to other areas of the role
  • Review new Sales Orders being raised as part of the sign off process
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis requested by Leadership team and Archimed
  • Assist with the completion of ONS requests
  • Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently

  • Experienced in a financial analysis role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Sector experience is desirable but not essential (but must be willing to learn and adapt quickly)
