Why are we hiring a Product Manager? We are expanding our Product team and are seeking a customer-obsessed Technical Product manager to join us on our journey!
Reporting to the Sr. VP of Study Management, the Product manager will manage the Pristima success, balancing client requirements, business priorities and technical constraints while aligning with our strategic outlook.
What are you responsible for?
- Subject matter expert on Pristima, Provantis or similar solutions serving toxicologists with GLP data management
- Interpret the needs of the market (for the product), track industry trends and identify the cost-effective user-friendly approaches towards meeting those requirements.
- Break down complex product requirements into actionable user stories and tasks for engineering teams and lead design discussions with engineering to ensure features are clearly understood and feasible.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure thorough understanding of technical, regulatory, and risk considerations.
- Facilitate alignment between product vision and technical implementation
- Manage the product backlog. continuously prioritizing features and tasks based on business needs, stakeholder input, and technical dependencies.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and ensure that product features meet business goals.
- Work closely with operations and customer-facing teams to ensure smooth product rollout, monitor user feedback, and address any issues that arise post-launch.
- Develop and maintain a financial model for the product that demonstrates its commercial value and revenues over the long term (past, present and future)
- Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A seasoned product manager experienced working on technology-powered products as a product manager with several years experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
- Strong knowledge of life sciences, specifically toxicology data management. Experience with Pristima, Provantis or similar solutions is highly desirable.
- Keen sense of prioritization and ability to balance short-term gains with long-term strategies resulting in product backlogs based on business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints.
- Demonstrated understanding of software development processes, technologies (e.g., AI, APIs, cloud platforms), and technical requirements.
- Skilled at collaborating with and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in planning and coordinating product releases and managing timelines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
