InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Fitter - Bodybuilder to join a manufacturing and production company based in Great Bridge on a temp to perm basis. You will be joining a dynamic team of Fitters - Bodybuilders, and you will be required to build parts and vehicles, think of it as playing with Lego and putting the pieces together. This role would suit someone who has an interest in car building or has previous mechanic experience.
You will be using a variety of tools, including air, electric and manual with torque range settings; experience of using these types of tools is essential. Mechanical Hydraulics experience and the ability to read and understand technical drawings is a vital part of this role, so experience is essential.
The role of the Fitter - Bodybuilder will be:
- Building vehicles
- Use of various tools such as air, electric and manual
- Torque range settings
- Working and interpreting engineering technical drawings
- Assemble and install systems and equipment
- Fabricate and repair machinery
- Operating tools and machinery
The ideal Fitters - Bodybuilder will have:
- Mechanical Hydraulics experience
- Experience of interpreting engineering technical drawings
- Experience in a similar role
The hours of work for the Fitter - Bodybuilder will be Monday to Thursday - 7:00am to 4.30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
The salary for the Fitter - Bodybuilder will be £12.50 per hour, rising to £13.50 once taken on permanently, and you will also receive a shopfloor bonus.
