A tailor-made parking solutions company, operating in over 9 countries and 183 cities, is seeking a Traffic Warden to patrol permanent and temporary parking places within the Gloucester area, to ensure compliance with either the 1991 Road Traffic Act or 2024 Traffic Management Act, by issuing parking notices when required.
Your place of work will be Gloucester, and you will have access to your own facilities. You will be required to patrol the council car parks within the city centre and issue penalty notices to vehicles where necessary. Full training will be given.
The hours of work will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, 32 hours per week.
The duties of the Traffic Warden will include:
- Issue parking notices to offending vehicles
- Complete pocketbook in standardised manner according to the regulations
- Complete street visits as required
- Radio in the first parking notice issued
- Notify your Team Leader of the total count of parking notices at the end of your shift
- Inspect parking meters and pay and display machines, to ensure they are working prior to issuing notices
- Placing out of order notices and reporting faults on parking meters and pay and display machines
