InstaStaff are currently supporting a manufacturing and distribution company with the recruitment of their new Territory Sales Manager. My client supplies to the construction industry, so experience within this industry is essential. The Territory Sales Manager role will be predominantly covering the Midlands, but traveling to other areas in the UK may be required from time to time. Their head office is in Erdington.
As the Territory Sales Manager, you will have to take care of the existing customers and develop new customers by presenting to potential clients and undertaking product demonstrations.
Duties of the Territory Sales Manager include:
- Managing and growing existing and lapsed client accounts
- Identifying new areas for growth
- Visiting sites and undertaking demonstrations of company products
- Booking your own appointments and managing your own diary
- Predominantly working in the construction, tarmac, and concrete industries
- Developing a sales strategy
- Building relationships with existing, new, and lapsed clients
- Preparing and reviewing sales reports and forecasts
- Networking
- Presenting daily
Ideal qualifications for the Territory Sales Manager:
- Experience within a similar role

Salary for the Territory Sales Manager is a basic of circa £35,000, 2% commission on all sales, commission is uncapped, and average sales should easily be an average of £15,000 per week. Hours for the Territory Sales Manager are 40 hours per week; you manage your own diary. Benefits include fully expensed company vehicle, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, and free car parking.
