InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Driver to join a transport company based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. You will be required to drive a small van around set postcodes and support the safety inspection function of the business by driving the inspection team to various locations so they can carry out inspections from the vehicle. This is purely a driving role, and you will not be required to undertake any inspections.
The hours for the role will be Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm. The start date for this role will be Monday 6th April 2026.
The duties of the Driver will include:
- Driving a small van around allocated postcodes
- Supporting the inspectors with their transportation
- Following a route plan
- Using GPS and sat nav
- Regular maintenance checks of the vehicle and reporting any issues to management
- Updating route and mileage logs
The Ideal Driver will have:
- Experience within a similar role
- Held your licence for a minimum of 2 years
- Excellent communication skills and good teamwork skills
- A clean driving licence and no points
- The ability to start on 6th April
The salary for the Driver will be £13.00 per hour, paid weekly.
