Job Title: Traffic Warden\\n\\nLocation: Gloucester\\n\\nSalary: £12.60 per hour\\n\\nContract Type: Temp to Perm / Full Time\\n\\nSector: Traffic/ Transport\\n\\nAll CV’s to – (url removed)\\n\\nA tailor-made parking solutions company, operating in over 9 countries and 183 cities, are seeking a Traffic Warden to patrol permanent and temporary parking places within the Gloucester area, to ensure compliance with either the 1991 Road Traffic Act, or 2024 Traffic Management Act, by issuing parking notices when require.\\n\\nYour place of work will be Gloucester, and you will have access to your own facilities, you will be required to patrol the council car paks within the City centre, and issue penalty notices to vehicles where necessary.\\n\\nFull training will be given\\n\\nThe hours of work will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, 32 hours per week.\\n\\nThe duties of the Traffic Warden will include:\\n\\nIssue parking notices to offending vehicles\\nComplete pocketbook in standardised manner according to the regulations\\nComplete street visits as required\\nRadio in the first parking notice issued\\nNotify your Team Leader of the total count of parking notices at the end of your shift\\nInspect parking meters and pay and display machines, to ensure they are working prior to issuing notices\\nPlacing out of order notices and reporting faults on parking meters and pay and display machines\\nRecord additional evidence which may be required to prove breach of regulations, and which would not be included on parking notices\\nCheck and report on signs and markings to ensure that any parking notices issues are valid\\nReport suspected abandoned vehicles\\nAct as a source of local information to the public\\nDeal with difficult customers effectively\\nCarry out cash collections in line with company procedures\\nCarry out minor machine maintenance\\nWe are looking for a Traffic Warden  with:\\n\\nExcellent customer service skills\\nA full UK driving licence\\nA professional persona\\nYou will be joining a company with a reputation for providing a friendly and professional service to its clients.
