InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a permanent CNC Setter Operator with Turning or Milling experience to join a manufacturing company in Aston.

Duties:

  • Producing a high quality product by Setting and Operating CNC milling machines ensuring quality workmanship at all times.
  • Milling and turning.
  • Maintaining and improving productivity where possible, working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining set-up sheets as required and in line with company procedure.
  • Ensuring work area is kept clean and tidy at all times by keeping the machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation are followed at all times.

Ideal CNC Setter Operator:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in CNC setting and operating plus general engineering work.
  • Experience of milling, turning or both.
  • Some knowledge of programming reading and an understanding of drawings & models.
  • The ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously.

The hours of work for the CNC Setter Operator will be 8 hours per day - these hours are flexible. The salary for the CNC Setter Operator will be between £35,000 - £46,000 per annum depending on experience, the hourly rate equates to between £17.00 and £22.00.
