InstaStaff are currently recruiting for an Injection Mould Tool Setter to join a company based in Aston. This role will be Saturday and Sunday 6am – 6pm, and it will be on a 12-week temp to perm basis.

You will be required to assist in all aspects of maintaining production and efficiency output of the Injection Moulding Department. The duties of the Injection Mould Tool Setter will be:

  • To ensure Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to and all matters relating to this are dealt with.
  • Coordinating and carrying out Injection Moulding Machine set up, as well as production start-up, shutdown and change overs making certain that production handovers are effective.
  • Set up and operate Injection Moulding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials: Installs dies on machine, according to work order specifications, using clamps, bolts, and hand tools.
  • Set machine controls, regulating moulding temperature, volume of plastic, moulding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and moulding procedures.
  • To carry out tool changeovers and tool strip down for basic maintenance and insert changes.
  • Monitoring the Injection Moulding process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks.
  • To record and capture batch records and output figures.
  • To use automated stock management system ensuring all raw materials and products are bar coded, allocated a location and scanned for goods-inwards and goods-outwards and stored in correct locations in the warehouse.

The ideal Injection Mould Tool Setter will have:

  • Knowledge of the injection mould process.
  • The ability to work every Saturday and Sunday and commit to these days long term.

The salary for the Injection Mould Tool Setter will be £25.17 per hour.
