InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a permanent CNC Setter Operator with Turning or Milling experience to join a manufacturing company in Aston.
The duties of the CNC Setter Operator will include:
- Producing a high quality product by setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring quality workmanship at all times.
- Milling and turning.
- Maintaining and improving productivity where possible, working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Maintaining set-up sheets as required and in line with company procedure.
- Ensuring work area is kept clean and tidy at all times by keeping the machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
- Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation are followed at all times.
The ideal CNC Setter Operator will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in CNC setting and operating plus general engineering work.
- Experience of milling, turning or both.
- Some knowledge of programming reading and an understanding of drawings & models.
- The ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously.
The hours of work for the CNC Setter Operator will be 8 hours per day - these hours are flexible.
The salary for the CNC Setter Operator will be between £35,000 - £46,000 per annum depending on experience, the hourly rate equates to between £17.00 and £22.00.
