We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse yard coordinator and Shunter, with HGV driving experience, to join our state of the art manufacturing facility, working 42.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 1330 - 2200.

How you’ll make a difference:
- Control the shunting and loading of our own transport
- Be reliant to shunt and rotate vehicles onto yard loading bays as routes become available
- Liaise with external hauliers of loading times and managing their arrival and departure at Instarmac for loading
- Liaise with transport department to proactively notify them that their loads are ready and to coordinate loading on their return to Instarmac
- Work and Support warehouse loading team to optimise loading
- Complete export paperwork for I1
- To safely control the manoeuvring of both own transport and external vehicles onto loading bays with vehicles being parked and loaded in a safe manner including chocks etc.
- Maintain good housekeeping, cleaning and maintaining the yard to standards expected, to ensure operational efficiency
- To coordinate with both internal departments, including transport on requirements for the business i.e. tranships/pallets etc.
- Coordinate the safe loading/unloading of vehicles in the yard as per SOP
Requirements:
- Class 1 HGV License
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work proactively independently, as well as part of a team
