We’re hiring a Talent & Development Manager to help deliver and embed a modern, end-to-end talent strategy across the business, spanning Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Enablement, Succession Planning, Career Pathways and Retention.

This is an execution-led role that bridges strategic intent and operational delivery, ensuring consistent BAU service, strong stakeholder partnering, and measurable outcomes as we continue to scale and implement new talent technology (including Cornerstone).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing day-to-day operational delivery of the Talent & Development plan across the Find → Develop → Keep lifecycle
  • Partnering closely with the Head of Talent & Development, Talent Acquisition and Digital Learning to ensure high-quality execution
  • Overseeing delivery across recruitment activity, L&D programmes, performance enablement, succession planning and retention initiatives
  • Driving adoption and effective use of the Cornerstone platform (ATS, LMS/LXP, Performance)
  • Coordinating training needs assessments and managing external training providers for value and impact
  • Tracking operational KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, hire quality, completion rates, adoption, satisfaction) and removing bottlenecks
  • Ensuring strong governance, compliance, GDPR alignment, and data integrity across talent processes
  • Supporting leaders and HRBPs with practical, responsive talent solutions across multiple business areas

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in performance enablement and succession planning
  • 5+ years’ experience in one of TA, L&D, or performance/succession at a strong management level
  • Experience supporting both white-collar and blue-collar workforces (retail/logistics/industrial)
  • Experience implementing or embedding talent technology (ATS/LMS/performance systems) and leading change adoption
  • Confident stakeholder management and a practical, delivery-focused approach
  • Strong process discipline, continuous improvement mindset, and comfort working with data/KPIs

Location & travel:

Winchester (Hybrid) — with regular travel to multiple sites (including Salcombe, Halifax and other locations). Willingness to travel regularly and work in a hybrid environment.
